Batta up - Scout TF2

It's no secret that Scout is one of my favorite costumes. I expressed dismay at not having a set of superbly awesome Scout photos to show off and brag about and I managed to convince Elemental to remedy my plight at Kollisioncon.

I had a set idea of what I wanted shots of and somehow, we nailed it all within only a handful of tries. This is my personal favorite of the set and, in my humble opinion, one of the best photos I've had taken of me to date.

Jumping shots are kind of my favorite thing to do--I love jumping but they're really hard as a cosplayer/subject to get. I learned this my Senior year when I wanted to do jumping photos as my Senior picture. It's human nature to make dumb faces while jumping, so concentrating on making an in character face and not a "I am focusing really hard on not landing on the photographer" face is kind of tough. For me at least. Try sometime, you'll know what I mean.

Regardless, it worked out wonderfully. It's very crazy-legs in this shot and I love it.

I also wore my Ellis hat because I'm a tool and VALVe continues to cater to tools like me.
